The ground floor is designed around living together. A spectacular 25-foot kitchen with a marble island, steam oven and generous dining space opens completely onto the garden through full-width bi-fold doors. Morning coffee drifts outside. The south-west-facing garden has been designed to be lived in rather than looked at. At approximately 150 sq ft (14 sq m), it comfortably accommodates a full child's bed and works equally well as a nursery, private study or quiet reading room.
