Kestrel Cabin: Peaceful Woodland Escape at Top Riley Holiday Cottages

Nestled among the trees in the heart of the Peak District, Kestrel Cabin offers a calming break away for grown ups only where comfort meets nature. This open-plan hideaway features a comfy double bed, a small but well-equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a sink into sofa with a TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. A separate bathroom with a toilet and refreshing shower adds extra convenience.

Wake to birdsong, watch the sunlight filter through the leaves, and enjoy the gentle stillness of the surroundings. Woodland walks begin right from your door, with the beauty of the Peak District’s hills, trails, and charming villages all close by. In the evenings, let the peaceful setting work its magic as you relax in your own private space, far from the rush of everyday life.

This is a place of nature, beauty, and relaxation, so quiet hours begin at 9pm to ensure every guest can enjoy the tranquillity. If you love the outdoors but crave the comfort of a proper bed, your own kitchen, and a hot shower, Kestrel Cabin offers something just a little bit special, the joy of being at one with nature, without the compromises of camping.

Kestrel Cabin is one of several peaceful retreats here at Top Riley, alongside our secluded barn and and our stone built cottages, all set within private meadow and countryside.
