Head to Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands and tasty fish and chips and nearby Craster for its world-famous kippers. Explore Bamburgh Castle, the beach, shops, and renowned restaurants. Cross the causeway to Holy Island and spend a day in historic Berwick-upon-Tweed. Visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens (9 miles) and the market town’s independent shops, galleries, playhouse theatre, and famous second-hand bookshop and Cragside House and Gardens in friendly Rothbury. There is a contemporary café/shop (2.2 miles) which is a good venue for lunch and a friendly pub/restaurant in Ellingham (3.1 miles) where you can enjoy dinner.

This former farm building has been lovingly renovated to a high standard, beautifully decorated and well presented throughout. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor gives the property a luxurious feel. Head through the French doors into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is the perfect social space to gather for meals, games and to sit and plan your next day's activities. The kitchen is well-equipped so the family chef can prepare a range of dishes and there is a sofa to relax on and Smart TV to keep everyone entertained. There is a utility room with a washing machine and a separate WC. The first of three bedrooms is located on this floor with a king-size bed, plenty of storage space, and French doors that open to the front patio area. The en-suite has a shower cubicle and WC. Head upstairs to find the lounge with a Juliette balcony, comfortable sofas to unwind on, a Smart TV and a PlayStation with games. The twin bedroom is off the lounge and the en-suite has a ‘P’ shaped bath with a shower over the bath and WC.
