Steeped in island history and perfectly positioned along the water, this charming one-bedroom retreat offers an ideal getaway for two.

Once an old hunting camp relocated from National Park land near the Ocracoke pony pens, this thoughtfully updated cottage blends its storied past with modern comforts. Inside, you’ll find an airy open floor plan, a king-sized bed, and a generous kitchen with stainless steel appliances—perfect for relaxed mornings and easy island meals.

Step outside to the covered porch and take in tranquil harbor views, or walk just across the street to your private dock area with a picnic table and seating. It’s a favorite spot for watching boats drift by, sipping something cold, or launching a kayak into the peaceful local waters. Planning to bring a boat?
