On an active horse farm in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, an old barn has been lovingly converted into two separate vacation apartments. They perfectly blend historic architecture with stylish furnishings. This ground-floor apartment has its own separate entrance, offering plenty of privacy. Exposed ceiling beams, sandstone elements, and a fireplace define the space, while you can enjoy the soothing view of the river right from inside.

Sandstone and wooden beams lend the living area a sense of substance and warmth rarely found in modern spaces. A special highlight on the farm grounds is the panoramic sauna: It is available to guests of both units upon request and invites you to unwind deeply after a day in the fresh air.

The farm is nestled in the unspoiled nature of the Rhön—a unique landscape of meadows, forests, and moorlands. The on-site horse breeding operation underscores the peaceful, authentically rural character of your stay.

The nearby Rote Moor, with its cascading gorge and atmospheric moorland trail, is a wonderful destination for an outing: the gentle murmur of the water and the expansive landscape make this place one of the most impressive experiences in the region.
