House and area where as good as it gets. The location is conveniently located close to attractions and amenities. We wanted a relaxing laid-back vacation this place delivered. Plus nobody around very secluded privacy is everything when looking to relax. Only advice take your time on road to house as it is narrow.

Beautiful view and peaceful! Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch.

The views were the best of anyplace I have stayed, and the isolation I can't say enough about. For me, this place is location, location, location. Problems were: rockers on deck in poor shape and seemingly too few for the capacity; pool room sadly too small, and the cues need tips. The road to the cabin was not as bad as feared, never needed the 4WD. Yes, I would go back.

This was our second stay but sadly last. Internet did not work most of the time. There were four of us staying and very few towels (we stayed for four nights). There were no scrubbers (sponges) to clean off dishes before putting in the dishwasher. The basement was uncomfortably hot at all times so we turned off the heating to make it cooler making the cabin very cold in the morning. There were no normal glasses(besides coffee mugs) to drink out of so we used coffee mugs, there were wine glasses. Half a roll of kitchen roll was not much for 4 days over Christmas, this was no where near enough. The pool table is nice but one pocket has a hole in it and the balls would fall out every time. All of the pool que’s have their tips broken and have been like this for 3 years now because we’ve stayed twice. There is a dart board but no darts and it’s not hung properly so the board is not against the wall properly. A little investment and the place could be great…..
