We took our 12 year old daughter and her friends to the lake for the weekend, and the house fit this purpose perfectly. Most things in the house are in need of an update, but for a weekend with kids, I’d rather have this than a place where we are worried about breaking or staining something. That being said, you can tell it’s a well loved vacation house and there have been many fun memories made there. The only issue that we had is that we reported a few small things to the property manager via text, and it was pretty obvious it was a bot responding, as we got half answers and sometimes no response at all. Nothing major - a smoke detector and a mirror fell off the wall, the screen door came off the track and we couldn’t get it back on, and the sheets and n the downstairs bedroom were not clean (stained). Just wanted to make sure we reported it so they could be handled for the next guests, but I’m not confident my messages were received. Overall, great place to stay for the amount of space and number of beds at this price point at the lake.
