Villa Purnukka is a premium lakeside villa on the shores of Lake Kallavesi in Kuopio – a place where an authentic Finnish lake holiday, a traditional lakeside sauna and an outdoor hot tub come together for relaxing year-round stays.

Your holiday begins the moment you arrive. The lake opens up just beyond the yard, the private dock invites you to the waterfront, and the villa offers a peaceful retreat for families, groups of friends and multi-generational gatherings.

A day at Villa Purnukka might start with morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake. Summer days are filled with swimming, sauna sessions, barbecues and long Nordic evenings. In autumn, the surroundings become calm, autumn colours transform the landscape and the hot tub feels especially inviting on cool evenings. Winter creates a completely different atmosphere: a warm sauna, steaming outdoor hot tub, snow and the quiet lakeside scenery create a truly Finnish experience.

At the heart of Villa Purnukka is the combination of the lakeside sauna, the lake and the outdoor hot tub. Step out from the sauna to cool down on the dock, take a refreshing dip in the lake or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the view. These are the moments people come here for – and the reason many guests want to return.

The villa is ideal for both relaxed holidays and special occasions. Spacious shared living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, terrace, yard and private shoreline create the perfect setting for spending quality time together without the need for a tightly planned schedule. Cook together, enjoy long evenings, unwind in the sauna, play games, rest or simply slow down.

Located in Vehmersalmi, Villa Purnukka offers privacy and tranquillity while still being within reach of services and amenities. The Kuopio region provides additional activities and attractions if desired, although many guests quickly realise they have little reason to leave the property at all.

Villa Purnukka is perfect for guests looking for a lakeside getaway that offers more than a traditional cottage – more space, more comfort, more atmosphere. This is not just a place to stay, but a place for shared mornings, sauna evenings, celebrations and peaceful moments by Lake Kallavesi.

Welcome to Villa Purnukka – your private lakeside retreat with a traditional sauna and outdoor hot tub.
