A house rather than an apartment - and that distinction matters when there are six of you. This two-bedroom house in the Residence Le Chant des Oiseaux in Courseulles-sur-Mer offers two bathrooms, a private terrace, and a layout that gives a family of six genuine room to breathe. The fishing port, marina, and beach are all close by, and the indoor heated pool is a year-round constant for days when the Norman sky has other ideas.

The house sleeps six across a double bedroom and a bunk bed bedroom - well-suited for families with children - alongside a living area with a daybed, a single daybed, and a TV. Two bathrooms, each with its own toilet, make mornings smooth and stress-free for the whole group. The equipped open-plan kitchenette includes a coffee machine and dishwasher for easy self-catering, and free Wi-Fi is included throughout. The private terrace is a natural outdoor gathering spot for the family - breakfast, after-beach lunches, or winding down as the evening comes in off the coast. Free parking is available within the residence.

The indoor heated pool runs all year and includes a children's paddling pool and a solarium with deckchairs - a genuine highlight for families and always free. A play area and loan of equipment and games are included for all guests. Sailing, horse riding, mini golf, bowling, and an amusement park are all available nearby for more active days out.

Caen and its world-renowned D-Day memorial are just 18km away, the Bayeux Tapestry is 20km, and the landing beaches are within easy driving distance - making this house a strong base for both leisure and the unique history of the Norman coast.
