Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monument’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.Public transport: From Schaffhausen railway station to Neunkirch railway station, 3 minutes on foot in the direction of the old town.By car: Motorway A4 from Winterthur, from Schaffhausen Klettgau (direction Basel), Neunkirch Altstadt.Car park: There is no car park at the house. Blue zone parking spaces (with guest parking card). You can drive up to the house to unload your luggage.Number of persons 2-4: 1 room with two beds (bed: 90/200). 1 bedroom with two beds (90X200) cannot be heated with the stove in winter. There is a museum corner in the entrance area which contains many interesting facts about the Baderhaus and the small town of Neunkirch.Important addition: The ‘Baderhaus’ is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and could be a potential source of danger. The tenant is aware of these circumstances.
