- The whole apartment seems to have been recently refurbished. Everything looks new and tidy - The room is exactly as pictured, no surprises - Fully stocked (bedding, towels, utensils, dishes, soap, iron, etc.) - Bed, blankets and duvets are comfy - Functional electric heater - huge if you're staying during the winter

- Poor sound insulation between flats - Laundry room between flats is bad design, considering problem #1. You hear laundry noise all day. Bonus points to neighbours who start washing at 11 pm and don't close the laundry door - it makes you feel like you're sleeping on a washing machine - The apartment is in a rough low income area of the city Minor annoyances: - No hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks - No storage in the bathroom - a single small shelf would make it much more convenient - The kitchen table, fridge and freezer are tiny. Fine for very short stays, inconvenient if you're staying a week or more - The shower is as spacious as a coffin, and the continuous flow heater outputs inconsistent water temperature. It does the job eventually, if you can survive random ice cold and piping hot streaks
