Nazara Resort Skardu

I enjoyed my stay here, the place was clean and the service was great, that is why it saddens me to give this place a bad rating. If you want to come here on your own I highly recommend you stay here for no more than 2 days, because the lake is gorgeous. General tips if you wanna visit the lake that has nothing to do with the hotel: If you want to take a ride with the boat don't agree on more than 2000 rupees, if you want to do the zipline they say it is 3500 rupees and they will give you a ticket that says so, but locals say it is only 300 rupees, either way I think 3500 for zipline in a touristy area isn't that bad. When you leave you'd find drivers asking for 25k to drive you wherever you want, I walked around 40 mins to the main road and found it for cheaper.

I booked a room that is supposed to be "lake view room" and you can not see the lake because the hotel is over a hill and also being blocked by trees, so that was misleading, I wish Booking would look into that claim, my initial stay was supposed to be 3 days but I requested them to shorten it by one day and they agreed which is good by them. When you reach the place you have to ask the locals to guide you because there is no signs on how to reach the hotel. The included breakfast is one lonely egg, which was disappointing and the cutlery looks kind of dirty, I also found a hair in the plate. Some people would stay till 8pm talking and you can hear them so you can't sleep that early, I don't know if those are guests or friends of the owner. Also the Internet is bad, it won't reach your room most probably
