Yeah, the old description spends valuable space selling a hair dryer and iron when the real selling point is a big private house on 10 wooded acres where a group can actually hang out together.

I’d lean into the property, space, privacy, and group amenities:

Escape to 10 peaceful acres in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks, with plenty of room for the whole family or group to spread out, relax, and spend time together. Tucked away on a quiet dead-end road surrounded by woods, our 6-bedroom, 3-bath home gives you the privacy of a country retreat while keeping you just 15 minutes from both St. James and Rolla.

Plenty of Space for Everyone

With six bedrooms, multiple living areas, and plenty of seating throughout the house, this home is designed for larger families, multiple families traveling together, reunions, work trips, and group getaways.

Sleeping arrangements include a king bed, four queen beds, and a bunk bed, along with additional gathering spaces throughout the home.

Two Great Living Areas

Upstairs, the open living area connects to the kitchen and dining space, making it easy for everyone to gather for meals, conversation, and time together.

Downstairs, you’ll find a large media and entertainment area with a 65” TV and tons of comfortable seating—perfect for movie nights, watching the game, or giving the kids and adults their own spaces to relax.

There’s also a ping pong table for a little friendly competition.

10 Private Acres

One of the best parts of the property is everything outside the house. You’ll have approximately 10 acres to enjoy, surrounded by woods and tucked away from busy roads and neighbors.

Relax around the fire pits, sit outside with your morning coffee, enjoy the patio furniture, wander around the property and fruit trees, or simply enjoy how quiet it gets in the evening.

The large concrete patio provides plenty of room to gather outdoors, and a propane grill is available for cookouts.

At night, settle in around the fire and enjoy the peaceful wooded setting.

Close to St. James & Rolla

You get the quiet of the country without being far from town. The house is approximately 15 minutes from both St. James and Rolla, making it a convenient home base for visiting family, local events, work trips, Missouri S&T activities, wineries, outdoor recreation, or exploring the area.

St. James offers wineries, restaurants, and access to some of the area’s best outdoor destinations, while Rolla provides additional dining, shopping, entertainment, and Missouri S&T.

Made for Time Together

This isn’t a small vacation rental where everyone is squeezed into the same room. Between six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two large living areas, indoor entertainment, outdoor gathering spaces, and 10 acres to enjoy, there’s room to spend time together—and room to spread out when you want to.

Whether you’re here for a family gathering, weekend with friends, work trip, or simply a quiet escape to the Ozarks, you’ll have a comfortable home and plenty of space to make it your own.
