Explore the charming port of Koper from this 2nd-floor apartment for 4 in the heart of the old town. Whether you are travelling for work or pleasure, this apartment is an ideal base for discovering Slovenia’s fascinating history and beautiful beaches.
The front door leads into an open-plan living space. This includes a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen TV, a dining table and chairs. The smart fitted kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Guests will also find an open wardrobe for storage and a washing machine.

Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a laptop-friendly workspace and a wardrobe.

The Medieval heart of Koper and Titov trg (Titov Square), with its Venetian-style architecture, is a fascinating place to explore. Koper was once part of the Venetian Empire, and this has left its mark on the town. The narrow streets of the historical centre offer some excellent restaurants and cafés.
There are many wonderful beaches along the coast, including Zusterna Beach (10 minutes) and the beach at Punta Grossa nature reserve (20 minutes). Further along the coast is the charming harbour town of Izola (16 minutes). One of the oldest settlements on the coast, it is packed with history and has a lively marina. Visitors can hire kayaks and paddle boards to explore this stunning coastline.
Away from the coast, the area is famous for its rock formations, caves and subterranean rivers. Skocjan Caves (30 minutes) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spectacular series of caves, stalagmites and stalactites.
For self-catering, try Koper’s daily farmers’ market. Here you will find the best, freshest local ingredients.
The closest airport is Trieste, Italy, which is a 1-hour drive. Alternatively, Ljubljana Airport is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
