Set along Via Fillungo, Lucca’s most iconic street, The Tuscan Serenade is a beautifully refurbished three-bedroom, four-bathroom home where historic character meets fresh, contemporary comfort. From its beamed ceilings and warm wooden floors to its elegant furnishings and soft natural palette, the apartment has the feel of a private city residence — generous, refined and made for lingering.

The living spaces are full of atmosphere. Original timber ceilings, polished floors and tall windows give the apartment a strong sense of place, while the recent refurbishment has brought in a softer, more comfortable mood. Plush seating, sculptural lighting, carefully chosen art and calm neutral tones create a space that feels both sophisticated and deeply welcoming.

The main sitting room is designed for slow evenings after a day in the city, while the dining area has a more celebratory feel, with a large table set beneath an elegant chandelier — perfect for long dinners, family gatherings or relaxed meals with friends. There is also a billiard room, adding a playful and unexpected touch to the home, and giving guests an additional space to enjoy together.

The kitchen is smart, modern and fully equipped, with a striking black-and-white floor, sleek cabinetry and a bright window overlooking the rooftops. It is practical without losing its sense of style, ideal for everything from morning coffee to a proper Tuscan dinner at home.

Each of the three bedrooms has been arranged with comfort in mind, combining soft textiles, fresh décor and quiet elegance. The four bathrooms add a real sense of ease for groups, with contemporary fittings and refined finishes.

One of the apartment’s most charming features is its balcony — an intimate outdoor corner looking out over the historic rooftops, warm façades and hidden gardens of Lucca. It is the perfect spot for a morning espresso or an evening glass of wine, with the city unfolding quietly around you.

This is a home for guests who want to be right in the heart of Lucca, without compromising on space, comfort or beauty. Step outside and you are immediately in the rhythm of the historic centre, with boutiques, cafés, restaurants and monuments all within easy reach. Step back inside, and the apartment becomes a calm, elegant retreat above the city.
