Welcome to Jacksonville! The Courtyard Retreat was beautifully refreshed in July of 2026 with love, based on feedback from our very first guests. We've kept all the historic charm of this 1939 brick house while adding cozy new touches throughout: warm wood-textured LVP flooring, soft new furniture, extra lighting, and thoughtfully chosen décor. Sink into the new couches and loveseat in our open living room, or settle into the dedicated workspace to get things done.

The Courtyard Retreat is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment located on the first floor of the property. There is a cozy living room and dining room for your comfort. Our kitchen offers dinnerware, pots and pans, bakeware, a coffee station, a full-sized refrigerator, and a stove.

Designed for Comfort & Energy Efficiency
We've made several energy-efficient improvements throughout the apartment, including:
• Light-sensing, motion-activated exterior lighting for added convenience and security
• Motion-activated lighting in the foyer to help reduce electricity consumption
• Energy-efficient LED lighting throughout most of the apartment
• Living room lamps with adjustable warm and cool lighting settings so you can choose your preferred ambiance

Perfect for Remote Work
Whether you're traveling for business or extending your vacation, you'll appreciate our two dedicated workspaces. Each desk is located in a separate area of the apartment, providing quiet, private spaces for Zoom meetings, remote work, or studying without disturbing one another.
