Welcome to Ferienglück! Ferienglück is a spacious, newly renovated apartment of about 125 m² with a large private garden and a spacious sunroom—far from traffic noise, yet centrally located to start your vacation excursions. The vacation rental is situated on a former farmstead that still serves as a haven for happy chickens, two cats, and a pot-bellied pig named Illy.
Families with children will find plenty of space to play, run around, and explore. A play structure with a swing and a mud kitchen invite them to have fun. A grill and a fire pit are available for enjoying the evening. Families and couples can relax in the spacious sunroom with a magnificent view of the countryside, where they can spend leisurely hours even when the weather isn’t ideal. A cozy wood-burning stove in the living room ensures pleasant evenings during the cooler months.
Whether it’s a family vacation, a cycling trip, or a relaxing getaway with friends in the Emsland region—our vacation rental offers the ideal combination of tranquility, nature, and comfort. For active vacations, beautiful trails right outside the door invite you to enjoy extended cycling and hiking tours. Morning walks through the wooded Böllenmoor, just 250 meters away, offer the perfect opportunity to start the day in a relaxed way. The soccer field for soccer enthusiasts is within walking distance (200 meters). In the immediate vicinity (1.5 km), you’ll find Landhaus Eppe, a traditional family-run restaurant known for its excellent regional cuisine, especially suckling pig. Of course, parking is free at the vacation home. Upon arrival, you’ll find made-up beds and fresh towels waiting for you, so your vacation can begin right away.

This vacation rental is the ideal starting point for bike tours, as the bike path along the Dortmund-Ems Canal is just 1.5 km away. From there, you can explore the town of Meppen (2 km) and the lively town of Lingen (14 km). A special recommendation is Haselünne (approx. 9 km), the oldest town in the Emsland region, which can be reached quickly via beautiful, nature-filled bike paths. Among the most popular attractions in the area are the Meppen Open-Air Theater, numerous museums, the Moormuseum (19 km), as well as Clemenswerth Castle (30 km), the Schloss Dankern amusement park (25 km), Emmen Zoo (40 km), the Speicherbecken recreational area with a sandy beach for swimming and surfing (10 km), and swimming pools (6 km) with a wellness area (19 km).
