San Bernardino sits right at the door of its own ski area, with the village\'s Pian Cales slopes and lifts just a few minutes\' walk from the apartment, and the wider Confin sector reached by gondola from the village centre. Come summer, the same trails switch over to hiking and mountain biking, while the San Bernardino Pass and the small Laghetto Moesola make for a lovely nearby drive or walk.
