The studio was cosy, easy to access, and located in a good neighbourhood - right next to the botanical gardens and only a short train ride from Gare du Nord.

There were ants in the kitchen coming through a crack between the tiles so you can't leave any food on the kitchen top - we left fresh bread in a bag and had to throw it away. We had to hide bread in a microwave. There wasn't enough light in the room - the switch for one of the lamps on the wall was broken. The cabinet in the bathroom was broken too, and the light in the bathroom felt heavy on the eyes. We asked if we could have an extra small towel for hands/face and received a response quoting the listing and explaining that any additional items should be provided by guests. We found the response disappointing, especially given the price of the stay. Even the toilet paper provided wasn't new. When we got inside the elevator on the first day, there were bin bags taking most of the space so we could barely fit in with our big suitcases, and the smell was bad. This continued to happen throughout our stay as people were vacating apartments as I believe most of the apartments in the building are rented out.
