The house was beautiful with stunning views of the gorge face. The facilities were outstanding, everything you need and the host had left milk and bread, which was unexpected and a really nice touch. The location was perfect with Matlock Bath just a few minutes walk away.

There’s a lot of steep steps up to the property which would be unsuitable for people with mobility issues, and maybe small children. This was an issue for us though and the views were more than worth the climb 🤩

The view was spectacular. Beds were extremely comfortable and the accommodation was equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was even ear buds, tweezers, pizza oven, smoothie makers?!!, bbq, hot tub, tissues, coffee, tea and more! They had left bread and milk ready for our arrival! I have stayed in many hotels and holiday homes over the years and this was by far the most thought out rental I had ever stayed in! Even down to the AMAZING dvd collection.

Would advise against it if you struggle with steps, however, once you are up the steps to the house - it’s absolutely fine! I am chronically ill myself and whilst it’s a huge walk up, the views are worth it!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was extremely clean, felt spacious and really nicely prepared for our stay. It was like being at home with luxury! Everything was well thought of and catered for, the welcome pack, the games, dvds, towels, toilet roll, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar, sauces! Very close to attractions and walks, Heights of Abraham, Lovers Walk, Matlock Bath train station. The view was amazing. The outdoor space was wonderful with a BBQ and hot tub. We couldn’t have asked for anywhere better, would definitely recommend to anybody and already thinking about our next trip and staying longer. The value for money was unbeatable. Communication with owner was really good.
