The location was excellent. It’s as described. A small private room in a building with other small flats. There is a lovely large communal staircase. There are locked doors between your front door and your flat.

The lady who answered the phone number on the booking was extremely rude to me when I called 24 hours before to enquiry about access. It was truly awful. She was so rude and made completely unreasonable comments and allegations about me. I was extremely upset and found the whole experience extremely stressful. Save for that lady, there was a young lady who met us at the door. She was pleasant and helpful. However My husband was also subjected to a ‘grilling’ by a lady outside the property who refused to identify herself but told him he could not enter. The pre stay messaging was non existent (hence my call 24 hours before). Thereafter when I used the messaging as a line of communication things improved but again I was subjected to false allegations which was distressing. I reported this to booking.com.
