Great location, amazing service, and a very safe neighborhood. Although the apartment is a bit worn down, everything lived up to - and even exceeded - our expectations. The master bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets and towels were super soft, and we were pleasantly surprised to find pool towels at our disposal. The small thoughtful touches/gifts, like potpourri, cozy socks, and "welcome" stickers on towels, pillows, toilet paper, etc. made a big difference. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel to LA!

Just a few constructive tips: A small starter kit with coffee, tea, and bottled water would be a great bonus. I highly recommend updating the guest guide with clearer directions to the key box, as it was very hard to locate. On top of that, several other rentals use the same spot, so we had to try multiple boxes before hitting the right one. Lastly, mentioning that the basement elevator is right between parking spaces 228 and 229 would be super helpful. Finding that door made accessing our floor so much faster than walking around the pool!

There was really nothing not to like

Good location. Quiet. Peaceful. Apartment was just what we were looking for.

See upgrades to the place would be nice. Carpet issues in a couple places. Refrigerator was lopsided and probably just needed a foot adjustment.

The location was good, the pool was a nice touch and the beds were comfortable. The access to the washer dryer also came in handy as well as the supplied washing detergents.

The aircon was really loud and would stop and start without making the rooms quite hot as well. The shower in the secondary bathroom was hard to change from the bathtub function to the showerhead function. It took a lot of fiddling around to get it working and realistically it probably should be replaced. The worst part was that when we arrived to the property we couldn't get the fob out of the safe lock that was amongst two other identical locks. It wasn't clear at all which one it was and after trying all of them with the correct code, none of them opened. Eventually the security guard let us up and the owner dropped off the fob later into the evening. This was frustrating late at night. The owner said we needed to wiggle the safe-lock more which isn't really how safe-locks work and it shouldn't be difficult to open it with the correct code. Additionally, one can't really go anywhere in the building without the fob and they only provide one which was problematic for a pair of travellers.
