Absolutely everything about this property was just perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I found this apartment / beach house incredible for our holiday & for the price i got it at the time (which seems more now) I couldn't believe it was real & I was debating whether to book as it was new listing but I took the chance for my kids to have a great holiday and it was. I like how it's exactly like the pictures shown as some places can be deceiving and make things look better but this place was even better in person than the pictures & my kids were loving it here, The whole apartment is beautiful and the carpets are so soft , really well decorated - the bedrooms were decent sized with a nice comfy large sized bed , the kitchen was lovely with waters provided and coffees / milk & all the proper utensils/cookery/plates and beautiful choice of selection cups and glasses -The bathroom had a beautiful big sized bath and good strong pressured shower. The lounge was really cosy and comfy with a good dining table to eat at which we did (This location has many take-away options and was very easy to order our dinner to the door and fast) It's an amazing location 1 minute walk to the beach and from there you get a brilliant (long) walk all the way long to the pier with many things along the way to keep you busy like stalls for items / food / restaurant / pubs & a very good sea life thats decently sized with many different animals/sealife & then finally reaching the amazing southend funfair and pier so you can't go wrong (The walk is just a bit long there and back so probably best for a taxi or something on the way back at night)

- The beds was pretty high which for children can be a bit of an issue as they always tend to fall off the bed whilst sleeping - which did happen with one child multiple times as I could only secure one in the middle and the other child had to be on the outside which she kept falling out - luckily I knew this would happen so created a pillow fort on the floor to save the falls lol - so I'd say the beds are somewhat not too child friendly unless you made a pillow flooring in case they do fall off during sleep as its a big fall to the floor especially for small kids. - I didn't realise exactly how far the walk was from the pier to this apartment which honestly killed me with a loaded up suitcase and 2 kids lol & same for walking to pier and back for the day & then walking it again back to pier side to go home the next day of checkout it was a killer but that's on me for deciding to walk it all :) It was more better on the way to the pier though after checking in as we got to take our time and do each thing along the way like using the beach / sea / sea life / ice cream stall and then reached the pier so made the walk better - the way back was the long part when your not stopping. - None of the keys didn't seem to unlock the balcony door but not a huge issue - I'd say the apartment was very cozy with lighting however i found it too dark in the lounge and bathroom at night when needing more light & I'd say a brighter light with dimmer would work well perhaps; also the bedroom the kids don't like to sleep in the dark so the ceiling light was too bright and the bedside lamp was quite bright but we had to choose the bedside lamp otherwise it was pitch black without either - so maybe a more dull less brighter bulb for the bedside or a dimmer for the room would be great for the kids side of things :)

We had a lovely stay! The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided, and the whole place had a really welcoming atmosphere.

Perfect location, very quite area, the house has very recently been refurbished and it is stunning. Dan is extremely accommodating and very welcoming host. Very tidy, clean and homely have booked again to stay here.
