Villa Selah offers privacy and quiet while keeping you close to everything, just 15 minutes from 6 beautiful beaches, including Playa Grande and Flamingo. Open the doors from the living space to your private pool and settle into your own little oasis. Sleeps up to 6 guests.

Villa Selah is a newly built, single-family home with soaring vaulted ceilings and an open layout that feels light, fresh, and completely alive. The living, dining, and kitchen spaces flow together seamlessly, with AC, a large island, and stainless steel appliances throughout. Sliding glass doors open to a covered outdoor dining patio and private pool, where lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and total privacy await. Surrounded by the sounds and greenery of the Guanacaste countryside.
The master bedroom features a king bed, AC, generous built-in storage, and its own private sliding door to the pool with an en suite bath. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (listed as 2 single beds, but it`s one bunk bed with two twin-sized sleeping spots, shown in photos) and a desk. The third bedroom has a queen bed with ample closet space. The two guest rooms share a full bath, and there is a half bath for common areas. In-unit washer and dryer included. Secured by electric gate and fence around the property.
This home was designed to make you feel held. Clean lines, warm textures, natural light everywhere, and a stillness you can actually feel the moment you walk in.
Note: A personal vehicle is recommended to make the most of your stay. The nearest supermarket, restaurants, and amenities are just a 5 minute drive away, and beaches like Playa Grande are only 15 minutes from the villa. While everything is close by, the distances are more comfortable by vehicle.
Guests have full access to the entire home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, the pool, covered outdoor patio, and all common areas. A few storage closets are reserved for the property.
We are available through the Airbnb app and happy to assist during your stay.
Power/Internet Outages: Costa Rica experiences occasional power and/or internet outages, especially during heavy rain or strong winds. These are usually temporary but something to be aware of.
Wildlife & Nature: The property is surrounded by lush nature, contributing to Costa Rica`s incredible biodiversity. Despite regular fumigation, it is possible to encounter insects or wildlife both outside and inside the home.
Pool Safety:
The pool is perfect for cooling off and unwinding after a sunny beach day. Please note that the pool does not have a surrounding fence or gate. By booking and staying at Villa Selah, guests acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all members of their party, including children, while in and around the pool area. The host assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that occur in or around the pool.
For everyone`s safety, please observe the following rules at all times:
✔ No diving, jumping, or rough play in or around the pool.
✔ Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when near the pool.
✔ No glass of any kind is permitted in the pool area. Please use the provided plastic cups or aluminum cans.
✔ Swim at your own risk.
Pool and Landscaping Team: The pool and landscaping crew come by a few times a week. They work efficiently and quietly, doing their best to stay out of your way. Just a heads up so you are not caught off guard if you see them around. Guests do not need to be present during service visits. Due to the surrounding trees and natural environment, leaves or light debris may occasionally collect in the pool between service visits, which is normal for the area. A pool skimmer is available for light surface debris if you choose to use it. Use is completely optional, and we ask that care be taken when handling the skimmer, especially near glass and tiled areas.
Security: We have 4 exterior security cameras with audio and video covering the outside perimeter: main gate/driveway, right side, left side near laundry entry, and rear exterior. All outdoors only. None monitor indoor or guest living spaces.
Guest Expectations and Communication:
We want your stay to go smoothly, and we handle questions and issues as efficiently as possible. We’re available during reasonable daytime hours, generally between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We’re not a 24/7 concierge, so non-urgent messages sent outside those hours will be answered the next day. If there’s a true emergency involving water, power, or safety, reach out right away.
For anything that affects maintenance or comfort, let us know as soon as you notice it. We’ll make a reasonable effort to address the issue, but response times can depend on the availability of maintenance staff or service providers. Some matters are also outside our control, such as temporary outages with electricity, Wi-Fi, water service, or amenities managed by outside parties.

Maximum occupancy is 6 guests at any time. Only guests listed in the reservation are permitted on the property. No additional or unregistered guests are allowed at any time. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 fee and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
Guest Registration:
Government-issued photo ID is required from the primary booking guest prior to check-in for security and guest registration purposes.
Cooling:
✔ Turn off the AC when you leave.
✔ Keep doors and windows closed while it’s running.
✔ Use ceiling fans to boost cooling.
Strict No Smoking Policy:
Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the property - if smoke or odor is detected indoors, a cleaning and deodorizing fee of $500 will apply.
Rinse Off Sand Before Entering the House or Pool:
Please rinse off any sand before coming inside or getting into the pool. You can use the outdoor shower by the pool or the hose by the left side of the house. Keeping sand off the floors, furniture, and out of the pool helps protect everything and keeps the space clean and comfortable for everyone.
Security & Safety:
Keep doors and windows locked when you leave. Please don’t disable cameras or security features (these protect you too).
Checkout and Entry Policy:
Checkout is at 11:00 AM and our cleaners or management arrive right at that time. They will always knock first, but if you’re still inside a few minutes past 11:00 AM, they will enter and start their work so they can stay on schedule. Thanks for heading out on time and helping the turnover run smoothly.
Furniture Movement:
For the safety and comfort of all guests, please do not move any furniture during your stay, including beds and sofas. Keeping furniture in its designated place helps prevent accidents and keeps the property in excellent condition for everyone. Following this house rule contributes to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
No Confetti or Glitter:
No confetti, glitter, or party poppers. They’re extremely hard to clean and can damage the pool and outdoor areas.
