The kitchen has been updated with blue cabinetry, quartz counters, a gas range, and stainless appliances, with plenty of room to cook for the group. A long dining table seats everyone, and the sectional sofa in the living room faces a mounted TV, good for a lazy afternoon after skiing or swimming.

The home sleeps up to 5 across two bedrooms, with a shared bathroom. Board games and a wood-paneled, cabin-style décor keep the mood relaxed and unfussy throughout.

Obexer's marina is under half a mile, Kaspian Day Use Area and Blackwood Canyon are both under 3 miles for swimming and hiking, and Tahoe City's shops and restaurants are about 5 miles up the water.

A note on the setting: the cabin's windows frame the surrounding forest rather than the lake, and the water is a short walk away rather than in view from the house. There is no street parking in winter, so every vehicle needs to fit in the driveway.
