Welcome to Heartwood, a beloved 1946 family lake house on a peaceful, motorboat-free lake in the heart of the Mount Washington Valley. This classic log cabin combines rustic charm with modern comforts, offering privacy, panoramic water views, and a true four-season retreat.
With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the cabin comfortably sleeps 10 guests. For those seeking to be closer to nature, a sleeping porch with queen bed is the epitome of glamping. The home features organic mattresses, luxury linens, fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table for 10–12, and the kind of cozy gathering spaces that bring families and friends together.
The iconic L-shaped screened porch is perched right at the water’s edge, making it the perfect place for morning coffee, evening cocktails, board games, and listening to the call of the resident loons. Step outside to enjoy a private 30-foot dock with Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and a full collection of lake gear: 4 kayaks, a canoe, 2 paddleboards, and assorted life jackets.
Explore the quiet waters, swim, fish, or wander the Poetry Path through the woods with vintage typewriters providing inspiration. Privacy from neighbors and beautiful views in every season, allows for guests to truly slow down and reconnect.
