Sunlight pours through the windows of this comfortable living room, opening the space visually towards the surrounding countryside. The seating invites leisurely mornings and restful evenings, while views across rolling fields bring rural Österlen close to the house; horses and cattle may be seen grazing near the property. A fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere. From Tomelilla, days can unfold in many directions: explore medieval Glimmingehus and Bollerups Borg, visit Ystad or Simrishamn, or enjoy family outings to Tosselilla and Ystad Zoo. The sandy shores of Sandhammaren, Borrby Strand, Löderups Strandbad and Ystad Sandskog offer plenty of scope for seaside days. Other local experiences range from Kivik’s Royal Tomb and cider traditions to Köpingsberg Vineyard, rail-biking and the Österlen steam train. Kåseberga and the sweeping landscape around Hammars Backar provide further reasons to explore this distinctive corner of Skåne.
