What makes this place different is the soul of it. Someone clearly loves Saigon and has put that into the design of every room. The Saigon vinyl and prints on yje shelves, the indoor plants, the warm pendant lamps, the sage green tones that reference the old French colonial buildings of District 1. It does not feel generic or mass-produced. It feels personal. Large window with city views, projector for evening entertainment, shared kitchen and rooftop laundry. Bui Vien for whenever the city calls.

Three of us travelling together stayed in different rooms and compared notes at breakfast every morning. Everyone agreed this place had more charm and comfort than anywhere else we had stayed in Vietnam. The sage green palette, arched mirrors, wooden furniture and Saigon-themed decor give each room its own distinct personality. City view from the big window, projector for group movie nights, shared kitchen for communal cooking and rooftop laundry. Bui Vien right outside for the nights we wanted to go out.

Stayed in the smaller back room which is quieter and incredibly cosy. The sage green walls and warm timber floor give it a cabin-like calm in the middle of Saigon that I geninely loved. Projector on the wall for movie nights, mini fridge with water and kettle stocked, and easy access to the shared kitchen downstairs. The rooftop laundry with both washer and dryer was very well maintained. Bui Vien is a short walk for nightlife and street food.

The room had a nice design, a city view, and a projector for relaxing at night. The shared kitchen and rooftop laundry were convenient too. Bui Vien was just a few minutes away on foot.
