We loved the feel of the place - very zen - as you would expect for a Buddhist retreat/accommodation. The fact that you could participate in their chanting walks was a wonderful surprise and what an experience. Could not have asked for a more authentic way to find harmony.

A wonderful and unexpected getaway from Sydney. The Nan Tien Temple Pilgrim Lodge offers a peaceful Zen atmosphere, beautifully maintained grounds and gentle, welcoming staff. The thoughtful extras—colouring and music tables, meditation and Tai Chi sessions, and the silent meal experience—made the stay unique and memorable. The walking paths are perfect for slowing down and relaxing. A calm retreat with easy access to Wollongong. We enjoyed it far more than we expected and would happily return.
Rooms could have a mini fridge and a better Tv as well
