Sunlight flows through broad windows and open garden doors, giving the living and dining space an airy, sociable feel. Comfortable seating and a generous dining table create inviting places to gather, while the direct transition to the terrace encourages meals outdoors whenever the weather allows. Beyond, greenery and water bring a peaceful outlook and reinforce the sense of staying close to nature. A swimming pool adds another way to unwind during the holiday. In Vlagtwedde, the countryside of Westerwolde invites leisurely cycling and walking through woodland, farmland and river landscapes. The fortified village of Bourtange is a fascinating nearby excursion, with its historic ramparts, bridges and distinctive star-shaped layout. Nature lovers can also explore the landscapes around the Ruiten Aa, while Vlagtwedde itself offers a relaxed village atmosphere. After a day out, return to the terrace for an easy evening beside the water.
