Set within a protected natural reserve in the Province of Ragusa, this exquisitely restored historic palmento is a private retreat where architectural heritage meets understated luxury.
Original stone walls, refined interiors and carefully curated details create an atmosphere of quiet elegance. Tenuta Aleppo was featured in the 2025 book “Hidden Villas of Southern Italy”, edited by AD magazine journalist Galli, celebrating its architectural elegance and timeless appeal — a recognition that reflects the estate’s distinctive character and sense of place. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms accommodate up to four guests in an intimate and authentic Sicilian setting.
The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for the guests, open from May to October, framed by open countryside and uninterrupted silence — a rare privilege in one of Sicily’s most evocative landscapes.Within a short drive (under 30 km), the UNESCO Baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli await, in a short distance the magnificent castello di donnafugata, alongside celebrated wineries and Michelin-starred restaurants that define the region’s gastronomic excellence.
The estate remains privately owned and cherished. The owners may occasionally reside in the adjacent house, as it is also their summer home, while fully respecting the privacy and independence of their guests. A dedicated caretaker discreetly oversees the grounds and pool, maintaining the property to impeccable standards.
A refined countryside escape for travellers who value privacy, architectural beauty and the authentic rhythm of southern Sicily. The coastline is only a short drive away, where beaches and luminous Mediterranean waters complete the Sicilian experience.
