This quintessentially Yorkshire holiday home can be found in the quiet hamlet of Sedbusk, just a country lane away from Hawes (1.5 miles), an eclectic town known for its famous creamery – the home of Wensleydale cheese. Tour the creamery, the Gayle Mill Museum and the Dales Countryside Museum before stopping off at a local pub or tearoom for refreshments. Keen hikers will be delighted by the captivating beauty of the local area and access to long-distance walking routes, including the Pennine Way (0.5 miles) and paths along the River Ure. Follow the river towards the spectacular Aysgarth Falls (9.5 miles) or up to Cotter Force (2.5 miles). For cyclists, the famed Buttertubs Pass (4 miles) provides some of the area's most incredible far-reaching scenery.

This traditional farmhouse boasts plenty of original character, yet it has been updated to create a contemporary, comfortable place to stay. Step inside to be greeted by the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, where the appliances invite you to get stuck into cooking, while the windows offer wonderful views that serve as a constant reminder of the beauty that surrounds you. From here, make your way through to the lounge, a space with soft seating positioned around an open fire and a Smart TV, promising everything you need for a restful night in. On this floor, a utility room adds convenience, alongside a downstairs WC. Make your way up to the first floor to discover two bedrooms, both served by an invigorating family bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The first bedroom is a restful king-size, while the second features a zip-and-link bed that can be made up as twins or a super-king-size, as desired.

Outside, the large, enclosed garden offers the perfect setting for enjoying Yorkshire’s fairer days. When the sun shines, make use of the outdoor furniture while taking in the sights of the rolling hills and grazing cattle that surround the property. Private parking for one car is also provided.
