Bike-In/Bike-Out Bentonville Retreat – Direct Back 40 Trail Access, Secure Bike Storage & Firepit



The Space:

Welcome to Whispering Trails, a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath country retreat accommodating up to six guests near Bentonville’s Back 40 trail system.



The sleeping arrangements include two double beds and two sofa beds. A well-equipped kitchen, comfortable gathering areas, Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, and a private washer and dryer provide the conveniences needed for a relaxing stay.



A secure bicycle-storage area is located inside the shop and includes a dedicated bike workstation. The shop also offers games for additional entertainment between outdoor adventures.



Outside, guests can enjoy the patio, gas grill, wood-burning firepit, and approximately one acre of open, well-maintained lawn. The spacious grounds provide plenty of room to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the peaceful country setting.



The property also features a new, state-of-the-art water-treatment system installed to improve the home’s water quality and address historical concerns about water odor.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the home, patio, gas grill, wood-burning firepit, open lawn, and secure bicycle-storage area inside the shop.



The shop includes a bicycle workstation and games. It is not available for vehicle parking.



On-site parking is available for up to three vehicles.



Entry is through an electronic lock with a unique code assigned to each reservation.



The Neighborhood:

Whispering Trails is located in a peaceful country setting near Bentonville with direct access to the Back 40 trail system. Mountain bikers can ride directly from the property to one of Arkansas’s most popular trail networks without loading their bikes onto a vehicle.



The surrounding area also offers hiking, golf, and opportunities to explore the natural beauty of Northwest Arkansas. Downtown Bentonville, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Scott Family Amazeum, restaurants, shops, and other regional attractions are accessible by vehicle.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended for reaching Whispering Trails and exploring Bentonville, Bella Vista, and the surrounding Northwest Arkansas area.



The home provides convenient access to nearby hiking and mountain-biking trails. On-site parking is limited to three vehicles. Garage and carport parking are not available.



Other Things to Note:

Whispering Trails accommodates a maximum of six guests, and the primary renter must be at least 25 years old.



Pets and smoking are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.



The home uses privacy-compliant noise-monitoring technology to detect excessive sound levels and occupancy. It does not record conversations.



The entire lawn is available for guest use, but it is not fenced. Children should be supervised throughout the property and around the wood-burning firepit.



Only firewood may be burned in the firepit. The gas grill and its fuel shutoff valve must be turned off completely after each use.



The indoor fireplace is not available for guest use.



The home is on one level, but a couple of steps are required at the entrance.

Interaction with Guests:

Guests can enjoy the home and surrounding property independently. Our local Bentonville management team is available through the booking platform if assistance is needed before or during the stay.
