The apartment was great. It was clean, spacious, full of light, in a good location with lots of amenities nearby and great public transportation connections to the center and other parts of the city. The host was communicative, prompt to respond and very helpful. The apartment looked newly renovated, with a lot of thought for details. For example, there is bench one can use to put up a suitcase. There is a lot of closet space. There is also a great little space for reading: a couch corner with the extension and with a lamp on the side. I didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed decently equipped for that. Cleanliness in all rooms was exceptional. Things to know, that did not bother me at all: The apartment is on the second floor (last one) and there is no elevator, but the staircase is quite wide. (Even though the apartment is on the last floor, it wasn't hot like an oven - the temperature was decent even without the air-conditioning.) The air-conditioning unit is only in the living room, there isn't one in the bedroom. However, the ac unit is quite strong, and kept the temperature in the entire apartment without effort. There is an electric kettle, but there is no coffee machine. People here drink mostly turkish-style or instant coffee, so this is not surprising.

Everything was great. I have no complaints.
