⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband Larry, from the USA, and I, from Taiwan, first met on the French Camino de Santiago. This time, we decided to return together and experience the beautiful Portuguese Coastal Camino. ❤️ We were a little hesitant when booking because the accommodation was quite new and the weather forecast wasn't looking great for sleeping in a tent. But we decided to take a chance… and what a lovely surprise! 🥰 The place is simple, cosy and surrounded by nature, exactly what a real camping experience should be. Although check-in isn't automatic, that actually turned out to be one of the nicest parts of our stay! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Larry also loves camping and has his own tents, so the two of them immediately found something in common and had a lovely conversation. 😊 The friendly animals wandering freely around the property were another special touch. They kept us company and made the place feel even more like home. 🐾 It was quite windy during the night, but everything was sturdy and we slept surprisingly well! We only wish we could have stayed a little longer. In the end, it wasn't just another stop along the Camino, but another beautiful memory to take home with us. Thank you for the special hospitality. It's not really something we disliked, but rather something that comes naturally with this type of accommodation. This is a real camping experience, surrounded by nature, with soil, outdoor spaces and humidity from being so close to the river and sea. Naturally, some areas cannot always be as spotless as you would expect in a five-star hotel. From what we were told, the host is already planning improvements in this area, which is lovely to hear. But for us, it's all part of the camping experience and didn't take away from our stay at all. 😊

Confesso que não sou grande fã de campismo, mas a ideia era proporcionar uma experiência diferente às nossas filhas de 8 e 11 anos. E valeu o esforço! 😊 As meninas adoraram, especialmente os animais que andam por lá. O facto de termos o espaço só para nós, onde podiam brincar e estar à vontade sem incomodar ninguém, foi uma enorme vantagem. Apesar de não ser o tipo de alojamento que eu e o meu marido costumamos escolher, acabámos por viver momentos diferentes e criar boas memórias em família. A localização é excelente, muito perto da praia e do centro de Esposende. E a disponibilidade dos donos para o que precisamos foi muito positiva

É campismo, com tudo o que isso implica: algum contacto com terra, humidade e menos conforto do que estamos habituados. Para mim, pessoalmente, foi um pequeno desafio, mas ver a felicidade das meninas compensou tudo! No final, pelas filhas valeu tudo. ❤️

A perfect stay in Esposende! Me and my friend had an amazing time staying here! The location is just beautiful, right near the ocean, with lovely walking paths, palm trees, and fantastic weather during our stay. The accommodation itself was very comfortable, and we slept really well, making it an ideal stop to rest and recharge before continuing our Camino journey! We were also pleasantly surprised by all the extra services the host offers, from breakfast to a fantastic dinner with his family, which was absolutely delicious. It made the experience feel even more personal and special. Our only regret was not having time to do the Sunset Tour — maybe next time! 🌅 What made our stay truly special, though, was the host and his entire family. They were so friendly, warm, and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended! ❤️

The only downside was that we stayed during a local festival, and as we were walking the Camino de Santiago, we would have preferred a little less noise and activity around us. However, we completely understood that we happened to be there on a festive day.

Une vraie expérience de camping avec une superbe vue Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit sur place et je suis arrivé assez tard, mais les hôtes ont été extrêmement disponibles et accueillants dès mon arrivée. Comme je voyageais seul, ils m'ont également préparé le petit-déjeuner et m'ont invité à dîner chez eux. C'était une très belle expérience, conviviale et amusante, qui a vraiment rendu mon séjour différent. Le lieu propose une véritable expérience de camping, comme annoncé. On peut prendre une douche en plein air ou utiliser un espace plus abrité et chauffé. Quand on voyage seul, la présence des animaux est également très agréable et apporte beaucoup de vie au lieu. J'ai aussi beaucoup apprécié le petit service de minibar et de mini-épicerie disponible sur place, particulièrement pratique lorsqu'on arrive tard.

Pour les petits points négatifs, il faut garder à l'esprit qu'il s'agit d'un terrain de camping naturel: il y a donc de la terre et il ne faut pas s'attendre à la propreté d'une chambre d'hôtel. Esposende peut également être assez venteuse et, certains jours, dormir dans la tente supérieure peut être un peu moins confortable. Mais cela fait partie de l'expérience et correspond bien au concept de camping naturel annoncé. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé un très bon moment, notamment grâce à l'accueil des hôtes et à ce bel emplacement avec vue sur la rivière.
