Set an alarm for sunrise over Lake Huron. Anchorage Cottages' private beach is a short walk from Regatta's door. Inside, it's a bright, beachy take on the classic Up North cottage: two bedrooms, [sofa/futon], a full kitchen, and WiFi. Sleeps 4. Evenings are for bonfires at the shared fire pits, afternoons for picnics on the lawn, and dogs are welcome. Just south of Oscoda in Au Sable Township.

You'll get full check-in details before you arrive, and we're just a message or call away if anything comes up during your stay — whether that's a restaurant recommendation or the best time to catch the sunrise. You're not routed through a call center; you're talking to the people actually managing the property.

The shoreline has rock barriers in place to prevent erosion, so young kids may need a hand getting into the water. Beach space is limited, but the view across Lake Huron holds up in every season.
