The Space…..Perfect for couples and small families, the cabin sleeps up to 5 and offers a peaceful place to relax after a day of hiking, fishing, skiing, sightseeing—or doing absolutely nothing at all.

Comfort & a Certain Mountain Coolness Inside…..

We think you would agree - a mountain vacation cabin should be cozy & comfortable - but not “back-woods drab. “This is why we’ve completely updated the interior. This cabin features vaulted ceilings & a modern split heat/air system (with supplemental space heaters & fans) for comfort in any season.

The Main Living Area…..
• Comfort: Super comfy full-size, Futon sofa-bed & a fantastic powered reclining easy-chair.

• Entertainment: 50” Roku WiFi smart TV with a Bose sound-bar & DVD-player - all mounted above the electric fireplace (with an added heater to help chase away mountain chill!). Enjoy some games & puzzles for the down time you’ve been looking for. Beach towels provided for the hot-tub & summertime swimming as well.

• Kitchen/Dining: Fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and everything you need for cooking and eating family meals. Both a Keurig-coffee - standard drip-coffee makers - and blender included.

• Bathroom: Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair-dryer, & basic first-aid kit.

- Washer/dryer combo in kitchen: Yea!

Sleeping Areas…..
• Primary Bedroom: Cozy bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and ample closet/storage space. Also a mounted Smart TV, extra blankets for chilly nights, & a view of the river make the bedroom even more than just for sleep.

• The Loft: The ‘other’ sleeping area is a laddered loft with 2 single beds. The loft has front rails and a low ceiling—it works well for kids or adults with good mobility looking for a unique,
private space! Please watch little ones closely to avoid any accidents with the ladder & height.

Magic Outside & Year-Round Adventures…..

Step a few feet out the door and let the river complete the story. Our private deck and landscaping, featuring a hot tub directly overlooking the river and fire pit area, are made for sitting, relaxing, & letting the world melt away to that “river melody.” Saying this is a unique property would be….well, an understatement. Still not quite sleepy yet - perhaps? Just wait a bit. Your evening is about to transform with the ambiance of the river-rock fireplace & solar lights & nature’s chorus….

Grilled Trout & Hidden Treasures…..
Ever caught & grilled trout on a charcoal grill? It’s one of life’s hidden treasures! The trout fishing is typically very good, both up-river and down-river from the cabin - the grill is provided but charcoal & firewood is not provided. If you prefer dining out, great restaurant options are only a short 5-minute to a 25-minute drive-away.

• Winery & Towns: A nearby winery (with live music), Banner Elk (great restaurants) and a larger city - Boone.
• Winter Fun: The seasons are truly year-round, including a great snow/ski season at Sugar and Beech Mountains.
• Convenience: And for the “usual items,” you’re less than 30 minutes from a Super Walmart or Lowe’s.

Your Own Riverfront Retreat…..you’ll have the entire cabin, deck-space, 2 parking places, and outdoor spaces surrounding the cabin.

Step outside and the Linville River becomes the backdrop to your stay.

The riverfront itself is common space for the cabin community, with areas for walking, fishing and swimming. Please be courteous of neighboring cabin owners and guests.

The charcoal grill is provided; charcoal and firewood are not provided.

Pet Friendly…..Dogs are welcome and must be included with your reservation. Limit 2 Dogs. Please keep pets leashed while outside, do not leave them unattended outdoors, and keep pets inside if you leave the cabin. We also ask that you please clean up after your pup for our next guests.
