Sunlight filtering through the large glazed doors gives the living and dining space an airy, restful character. Exposed timber beams and the open wooden staircase introduce a natural architectural element, while the dining table provides an inviting place to linger over breakfast or plan the day ahead. Wielki Klincz lies amid the varied landscapes of Kashubia, where forests and numerous lakes encourage days spent outdoors. With a fishing licence, anglers can make the most of the region’s freshwater fishing opportunities, while walkers and cyclists can explore quiet country routes through the surrounding scenery. Nearby Kościerzyna is worth visiting for its local restaurants, shops and Kashubian heritage, including traditions that remain an important part of the region’s identity. Further afield, the lakes and wooded hills around Wdzydze Landscape Park offer rewarding possibilities for hiking, paddling and peaceful excursions in nature.
