Wir haben eine wunderschöne Nacht in der Wüste verbracht. Die Atmosphäre war ruhig, die Landschaft atemberaubend und der Sonnenaufgang am Morgen einfach spektakulär. Das Team war freundlich und das Essen war gut. Dies ist keine traditionelle Hotelunterkunft, sondern ein besonderes Naturerlebnis. Deshalb sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass einige Dienstleistungen und die Internetverbindung anders sein können als in einem gewöhnlichen Hotel.

We only stayed one night, but it was definitely worth it. The camel ride at sunset was probably our favorite part. The tent was clean and comfortable, and dinner was very good. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We only booked one night because our Morocco itinerary was quite busy, and afterwards we wished we had stayed for two. The arrival was well organized, and the camel ride to the camp was a lot of fun, especially with the sunset stop on the dunes. When we arrived, we were offered Moroccan tea and the staff explained what was planned for the evening. Our tent was clean and comfortable, and having a private bathroom and hot water made the stay much easier. Dinner was good, followed by music around the fire. Later we spent some time outside looking at the stars. The next morning we had breakfast and walked on the dunes for a while before leaving. We also appreciated that the staff handled our luggage instead of leaving us to figure it out ourselves. A genuinely enjoyable desert experience, and I would definitely stay longer next time.

We arrived in Merzouga after a long day of driving, so the camel ride to the camp around sunset was a perfect way to finish the day. Our guide was patient and gave us enough time to stop for photos, so we never felt rushed. When we arrived, we were welcomed with tea and shown to our tent. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and having a private bathroom with hot water was better than I expected in such a remote place. After dinner there was traditional music around the fire. Some guests joined in with the dancing while we mostly sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere. Later the camp became very quiet. We got up early for sunrise and then had breakfast. A simple but very memorable night in the desert.
