A cosy Suffolk cottage with countryside walks on the doorstep, a village pub just moments away, and plenty of space for muddy boots, waggy tails and relaxed weekends away.
Set in the peaceful village of Honington, the cottage sleeps up to four guests and makes a lovely base for couples, friends, small families and dog owners who believe a holiday is not really a holiday unless the dog comes too.
Honington has its own claim to fame as one of the filming locations for the classic TV series Dad’s Army, so expect a bit of gentle nostalgia, quiet village charm and the occasional urge to say, “Don’t panic!” while heading off to the pub.
The surrounding area is full of pretty Suffolk countryside, historic market towns, excellent pubs, lovely walks and plenty of places to potter, explore, eat, drink and generally switch off.
The Space
The cottage is comfortable, characterful and homely, with everything you need for a relaxed countryside stay.
There is a cosy living area for putting your feet up after a day out, a practical kitchen for cooking meals, and two bedrooms sleeping up to four guests.
Upstairs, there is a fabulous roll-top bath, perfect for a long soak after a day exploring the countryside. Downstairs, there is also a shower room for easy, practical use during your stay.
It works well for a couple wanting extra space, friends travelling together, or a small family looking for a peaceful break away from the usual rush.
Dogs are very welcome, and with countryside walks nearby and a dog-friendly meadow close by, four-legged guests may end up enjoying the cottage just as much as the humans.

Keys are available via a lock box, making arrival simple and flexible.
There is parking at the front of the cottage, with two further parking spaces at the rear.
The village pub, meadow and countryside walks are all within easy reach, so you can arrive, park up and start enjoying village life straight away.
