This unique and very special house oozes charm and character the moment you walk through the door. Situated in the small attractive country town of Castle Cary you are a short 0.5 mile walk from the town centre which offers a wonderful selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. With the train station just 1.5 miles away, why not catch a train to the thriving city of Bristol, or the historic city of Bath. Visit The Newt in Somerset (2.5 miles) with its picturesque gardens, ancient woodland, restaurant and shop, or Bruton (6 miles) with its eclectic mix of shops and eateries. Other places of interest include Wells (13.5 miles), Glastonbury (16 miles) and the National Trusts Stourhead House and Gardens (15 miles).

Step inside this beautiful property and you will immediately find yourself in an entrance hall where you can head upstairs to the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This characterful living space boasts a vaulted ceiling, exposed stonework, cosy wood burner and doors opening into an enclosed courtyard garden. The well-equipped kitchen has all the facilities you could need to rustle up a romantic picnic or prepare a delicious feast. Heading back downstairs to the hall is the welcoming king-size bedroom where you can rest well after a busy day exploring. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary en-suite bathroom.

The enclosed courtyard is a delightful outside space providing the feeling of a rooftop garden. Here you will find a seating area, which is a lovely spot for your morning coffee or a spot of al fresco dining.
