Thannegg Castle, dating back to 1150, has always been a place of life and encounters, serving as a family seat and residence for the nobility. Through the revitalization of this venerable building, the historic castle has rediscovered its original purpose. It is a special place to feel at home and stay.

The holiday apartment is accessed from the idyllic castle courtyard, on the south side, via the ground-floor sun terrace. It features a living area with a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom/toilet, a guest toilet, underfloor heating with a heat pump, and mountain views of the Dachstein. The castle has received several state climate protection awards for its sustainability efforts. Detailed information can be found online under "Schloss-Thannegg-Himmelbett-Gemach" (Thannegg Castle - Four-Poster Bed Room).
