Oranjestad and Queen Beatrix International Airport are generally around 10 to 15 minutes away, depending on traffic, while Arashi Beach, Alto Vista Chapel, and the California Lighthouse are easy drives toward the north side of the island. Taxis are available throughout Aruba, but having your own vehicle gives you the most flexibility for beach hopping and exploring beyond the main tourist areas.
