Rustic Tuscan character shapes the interior, with substantial exposed timber beams, a traditional tiled ceiling and terracotta flooring creating an inviting, time-worn atmosphere. The combined kitchen and dining space encourages unhurried meals and conversation, while a sofa provides a comfortable corner for relaxing afterwards. Wooden doors and cabinetry reinforce the country-house feel, and daylight entering from the side adds softness to the room. Outside, the swimming pool offers another way to enjoy leisurely days in the Tuscan countryside. Murlo lies amid the rolling landscapes south of Siena, an area of woodland, cultivated hills and quiet roads suited to walking and cycling. The village itself has deep Etruscan roots, explored at its archaeological museum. Siena makes an enticing cultural excursion, with the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and medieval streets, while the Val d’Orcia invites days spent discovering hill towns, scenic countryside and the distinctive food traditions of southern Tuscany.
