Welcome to The Goff House, a 100-year-old architectural treasure in the heart of Midtown Tulsa. Originally the Fred Hansen House, this distinctive 1925 home offers something rare: the character and individuality of a historic residence combined with the relaxed feel of a private resort.
The house was created by Bruce Goff when he was just 21 years old. Today, guests can experience the home amid thoughtful reminders of its history, including framed reproductions of Goff's original plans for the Fred Hansen House.
Outside, the home opens into a private retreat. Spend warm Tulsa days by the large saltwater pool, unwind in the six-person hot tub, enjoy the cedar-lined sauna, or prepare dinner in the outdoor kitchen, complete with a built-in gas grill, sink, and refrigerator. Multiple outdoor spaces provide room to gather or simply find a quiet place to relax.
Upstairs are three bedrooms. The expansive primary suite begins with its own living area and flows into the sleeping area, which features a split-king Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed. Beyond it, doors open onto a large private balcony with comfortable seating overlooking the pool. The primary bath includes a soaking tub.
The second bedroom offers more of the home's distinctive historic character, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. All three bedrooms have closets. A study on the main level provides additional sleeping space with a pullout sofa and is conveniently located near the cedar-lined sauna bathroom.
Throughout the house, original character meets carefully chosen comforts. Guests have Wi-Fi, an espresso maker, a Keurig, coffee and tea selections, and spaces designed for both gathering and retreating.
And then there is the location.
The Goff House is just one block west of Utica Square, putting some of Tulsa's best shopping and dining practically at your doorstep. Philbrook Museum of Art, Gathering Place, Woodward Park, and many of Midtown Tulsa's restaurants and attractions are all within a short drive.
This is a genuine century-old home, not a new house designed to look historic. Part of its beauty lies in its individuality, and—as with any home of its age—it has its own character and occasional quirks. We have worked to preserve what makes the house remarkable while creating a comfortable and welcoming place for our guests.
