Escape to the country on two fenced acres outside Weimar, about halfway between Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Round Top and Warrenton are roughly 45 minutes north, which makes this an easy base for the spring and fall antique shows.

Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and room for ten. Much of the living happens outside: a large covered patio with outdoor dining and a fireplace, a fire pit, a BBQ grill, and a separate entertainment barn for long evenings with family and friends.

Sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests: Bedroom 1 has a king bed and a twin bunk bed. Bedroom 2 has a king bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have a queen bed. There are two full bathrooms. Bedroom 2 also has a small double sofa bed, which we do not count toward the 10.

The property is fully fenced, with a covered patio, outdoor dining, fireplace, fire pit, BBQ grill, and the entertainment barn. Free parking on site under a covered carport and along a long driveway, with plenty of room for several vehicles.

The home has central heating and air conditioning, a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, wifi, and a TV. Linens, towels, and basics are provided.

Two dogs or cats are welcome, up to 50 lbs each.

*Round Top – about 45–50 minutes: A must-visit, especially during the famous Round Top Antique Shows. Guests can spend the day antique shopping, browsing boutiques, eating at local restaurants and enjoying the small-town atmosphere. The drive from Weimar is approximately 50 minutes.

*Shiner – about 40–45 minutes: A fun Texas day trip for visitors interested in small-town history, local shopping, food and the Shiner area. The drive is roughly 40–45 minutes from Weimar.

*Painted Churches Country Drive: Guests who enjoy architecture, history or photography can make an entire afternoon of visiting the churches around Schulenburg, High Hill, Dubina, Ammannsville, Moravia and Praha.
