IZUMI ZEN HOUSE is a whole traditional Japanese house in Izumisano, Osaka, only about 10 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport (KIX). With 5 bedrooms, a tatami living area and a private walled garden with your own open-air bath, it is made for families and groups of up to 16 who want to slow down and enjoy real Japanese living together.

PRIVATE OPEN-AIR BATH (ROTENBURO)
Step out into the garden to a bathing area shaded by a pergola and bamboo: two outdoor soaking tubs, an outdoor shower and lounge chairs. Lit up at night, it is the highlight of the house - soak under the stars after a day in Osaka or Kyoto. An indoor bathtub with shower is also available.

SLEEPING (5 bedrooms + living room, 16 guests)
- Bedroom 1 (1F): 1 single bed + 1 semi-double bed (shown as "double" in the Vrbo bed list)
- Bedroom 2 & 3 (2F): 2 single beds each
- Bedroom 4 & 5 (2F): 3 single beds each
- Living room: 3 semi-double sofa beds
Futons can also be laid out in the two tatami rooms (great for kids or an afternoon nap). A baby travel crib is available on request.

THE HOUSE
- Two tatami rooms with sliding shoji screens opening onto the garden, a living room with sofas and smart TV, and a dining kitchen
- Full kitchen: stove, fridge with ice maker, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, toaster, cookware and tableware (kids' tableware too)
- Washer-dryer, iron, hair dryer
- Air conditioning (cooling & heating) in every room, free Wi-Fi
- 2 toilets (1F and 2F)
- Towels, bed linen, shampoo, body soap and toilet paper provided
- 2 free bicycles for the convenience store or a ride around town

GARDEN
A private, fenced garden with a large outdoor dining table under an umbrella, a swing bench and string lights - perfect for evening drinks with the whole group.

PARKING
Free on-site parking for 4 cars under a covered carport - ideal for road trips around Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Koyasan).

- Izumisano Aozora Ichiba fish market & seafood restaurants: about 7 min

- Central Osaka (Namba): about 40 min by train
Izumisano is the gateway town to Kansai Airport, so this house works perfectly as your first or last night in Japan, or as a quiet base for exploring Osaka.

HOUSE RULES
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. No smoking indoors, no pets, no parties or events. BBQ equipment is not provided and open fire is not allowed on the property.
