Generous living spaces create an easy setting for family time, with several armchairs arranged for conversation and a long dining table ready for shared meals. The kitchen sits openly alongside the dining area, while timber cabinetry, traditional furniture and exposed structural wood lend the interior a homely, established character. Natural light from above adds to the sense of space. Set in Créances on Normandy’s Côte des Isles, the house is close to local shops and within easy reach of fine sandy beaches by cycle path. Days by the sea can include swimming, shellfish gathering, sand yachting, kayaking, kitesurfing, windfoiling and paddleboarding. Families can also seek adventure among the treetops at Forest Adventure or visit Cherbourg’s Cité de la Mer. For memorable day trips, the D-Day sites, medieval Bayeux and Caen, and iconic Mont-Saint-Michel reveal different chapters of Normandy’s history.
