Imagine this: you wake up in the Veluwe, hear the birds in the garden, and don’t really have to do anything today. First, wake up slowly with a cup of coffee, and then put on your hiking shoes, because from Chalet Kwispel, you’re just a short walk away from the beautiful forests surrounding Garderen and Putten.

Bringing your dog along? Not only are dogs allowed here, but they’re truly welcome. While you enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio, your dog can roam freely in the spacious, fully fenced-in garden. Then head out together for a long walk in the woods, to a nearby off-leash area, or—on a nice day—toward Lake Veluwe.

After a day outdoors, it’s nice to come home. Flop down on the couch, eat together, watch a movie, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we’ve taken care of the little things like coffee, tea, and a nice starter supply.

And when the day is over, a comfortably made-up Auping bed awaits. Open the window, let in the fresh Veluwe air, and tomorrow? Then it all starts over again.

Chalet Kwispel is one of those places where you don’t have to do a thing. Peace, nature, comfort, and above all, plenty of time for each other. With or without a dog.
