You can only reach the cabin by boat. You'll park at the boathouse, where the boat's ready and waiting. Upon arrival, your host will meet you and show you how the boat works. From there, the boat ride to the cabin takes about 1.5–2 minutes.



The cabin at Vige in Søgne sits in a sheltered spot with sunshine from morning to evening. The cabin has a jetty and a small beach about 60 metres away—a popular spot for the little ones.

Vige is a sheltered harbour with many islets and skerries—a popular spot for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. You can fish right from the jetty, and the Hummervika outdoor recreation area, with its walking trails, is nearby. The town centre of Tangvall has most of what you need, and it's a short drive to both Mandal and Kristiansand, home to the Art Silo and Kristiansand Zoo.
